Wow, time has flown by since I last updated my blog!! It's been a very full on year since May.
Rain all summer which has presented lots of challenges on the farm, and as the land is soooo wet going into winter the challenge continues.
Beautiful day today though, the sun is shining and it's cold and crisp, exactly as it should be in December. I'll try and take some pictures later to show you. I would use my phone, but unfortunately the lense on my camera has been damaged so photos look somewhat out of focus.

Where are we?
Well, I can't assume you even know where Mansergh Hall is so here is link to google maps and a brief description. Mansergh Hall location. We are in the deep south of Cumbria, only a few miles from the borders with Lancashire and Yorkshire Dales. It is a truely beautiful location nestling in the valley of the River Lune, with the fells of Barbon and Middleton rising behind.

My first blog....
Well, where to start with my first blog? It feels quite special! Today I have attended a fantastic workshop on Social Media by Richard Dancy www.dancy.co.uk - fantastic, thoroughly recommend! The aim for me was to learn how to master the world of social media rather than dipping in and out of facebook when I can.
I am going to try and tell you all about life at Mansergh Hall Farm throughout the year so you can share in what I think is a very special place, which produces and sources fantastic produce - I'm slightly biased, but passionate about what we do and how we do it.
